Microsoft 365 - Mastering Security, Compliance and Governance

Denna kurs behandlar förståelse och implementering av säkerhet med avstamp i regelefterlevnad (compliance), kontroll och styrning (governance) i en Microsoft 365-baserad samarbetslösning.
Kursen är lämplig för alla som är intresserade av funktioner tillgängliga i Microsoft Purview Compliance Portal. Den täcker Office 365-funktionalitet i flertalet Microsoft 365-prenumerationer, såsom Business, E3 och E5.

Laborationer
Under kursen kommer deltagarna skapa sitt eget Office 365 och ha laborationer som fyller miljön med data samt sedan implementera de funktioner som lärts ut under kursen. (observera på grund av latens hos Microsoft-tjänster kan vissa labb ta flera timmar eller mer att slutföra) Laborationerna är skrivna så att eleverna kan välja vilka de vill genomföra.

Introducing Compliance Standards and Microsoft Commitments
In this module, you’ll get an overview of Microsoft’s overall compliance commitments, including the Shared Responsibility Model and the Microsoft Cybersecurity Reference Architecture. You’ll be introduced to Microsoft Purview—the portal and PowerShell interface—and learn how licensing, roles, and permissions tie in with Entra ID administration and Privileged Identity Management.
Microsoft 365 Search Concepts
This module explores the fundamentals of Microsoft Search and how SharePoint organizes content via columns, content types, and search schema. You’ll also learn about Microsoft Syntex (classifiers, extractors, and label analytics) and how Purview enables data classification with sensitive information types, trainable classifiers, and the Data Explorer.
Microsoft 365 Content Search
Dive deep into configuring and running content searches in Microsoft 365, including security filters, limits, Teams chat, and KQL. We cover both the web console and PowerShell, along with best practices for export, handling unindexed items, and de-duplication in eDiscovery search results.
Microsoft 365 eDiscovery
Learn to build and manage eDiscovery cases in Microsoft 365: creating cases, applying holds (including Teams and Exchange litigation holds), running searches, exporting results, and closing or deleting cases.
Premium eDiscovery
Discover the differences between standard and Premium eDiscovery, including licensing and permission requirements. You’ll be guided through the Premium workflow, data source settings, notifications, processing, and setting up review sets with analytics dashboards and tag templates.
Microsoft 365 Data Retention and Disposal
This module covers all aspects of retention and disposition: from static vs. adaptive retention policies, scopes and locations, to labels, disposition reviews, and event-driven retention. You’ll also learn about recovering inactive mailboxes and how Purview Data Lifecycle supports Records Management.
SharePoint Security
Delve into SharePoint’s permission model: site sharing, advanced permission management, groups, inheritance, and best practices. The module covers both GUI and PowerShell methods for controlling access, blocking downloads, and managing the lifecycle of SharePoint and OneDrive items.
SharePoint External Sharing
Learn to manage external sharing at the tenant, site, and item levels: authenticated users, anonymous links, B2B settings, and guest access lifecycle. Administrative tools, PowerShell commands, monitoring, and hands-on labs are included.
Microsoft 365 Groups and Teams
This module provides a holistic view of Microsoft 365 Groups and Teams: creation, deletion, restoration, governance, guest access, and roles. You’ll also distinguish between external access models and implement policies via GUI and PowerShell.
Sensitivity Labels
Explore how to apply sensitivity labels to files, emails, teams sites, and PDFs, including visual markings, encryption (double key), auto-application, and integration with Syntex and Defender for Cloud Apps. You’ll also get troubleshooting techniques, reporting, and PowerShell automation.
Microsoft Defender for Cloud Apps
An introduction to Defender for Cloud Apps (MDCA): licensing, roles, app connectivity, and network requirements. The module covers Cloud Discovery, the app catalog, policy and session controls, alerts, and hands-on exercises in automation and reporting.
Managing Insider Risks
This module addresses insider-risk management: processes, scenarios, requirements, recommendations, and policy configuration. You’ll gain insight into analytics, alerts, case management, forensic evidence, communication monitoring, and information barriers.
Microsoft 365 Data Loss Prevention (DLP)
Learn how to build DLP policies, define conditions, actions, and reporting. You’ll manage Endpoint DLP, device restrictions, activity logging, user notifications, and interactive demos to prevent data loss.
Auditing, Alerts, Reporting, and Compliance Tools
Focus on audit logs, alerts, Compliance Manager, Secure Score, and other analytics tools like CAMP. You’ll learn to configure searches, export, retention, and monitor regulations, as well as set up automated compliance tests.
