Horizon 8 - Install, configure, and manage
Lär dig installera, konfigurera och administrera Omnissa Horizon 8 för leverans av virtuella desktops och applikationer. Kursen behandlar Horizon-arkitekturen och dess centrala komponenter och ger dig praktiska kunskaper i bland annat desktop pools, Horizon Agent, golden images, publicerade applikationer och säker åtkomst.

Om utbildningen
Under kursen arbetar du med installation och konfiguration av Horizon Connection Server, Horizon Client samt Horizon Agent för Windows och Linux. Du lär dig att skapa och hantera desktop pools, optimera golden images och konfigurera server farms och publicerade applikationer. Kursen behandlar även Unified Access Gateway för extern åtkomst, tvåfaktorsautentisering, övervakning av Horizon-miljön och felsökning av användarsessioner samt content och device redirection. Du får dessutom arbeta med skalning och redundans för Horizon pods, Cloud Pod Architecture samt backup, återställning och uppgradering av Horizon-miljön.
Målgrupp och förkunskaper
Kursen riktar sig till IT-tekniker, systemadministratörer och andra tekniska roller som arbetar med att designa, installera, administrera, optimera och felsöka virtuella desktops och applikationer i företagsmiljöer.
Det rekommenderas att du:
- förstår grundläggande koncept inom nätverk, lagring och IT-infrastruktur
- har praktiska kunskaper om Horizon 8
- har erfarenhet inom End-User Computing (EUC)
