About Dejan Sarka

Dejan Sarka focuses on development of database & business intelligence applications. Besides projects, he spends about half of the time on training and mentoring. He is the founder of the Slovenian SQL Server and .NET Users Group. Dejan Sarka is the main author or coauthor of nine books about databases and SQL Server and a frequent speaker many local and international events, such as PASS, TechEd, and DevWeek.

Target Audience and Prerequisites

This course is intended for:

Database professionals that are responsible for ETL or DBA activities related to data processing, data architecture planning, or SSIS administration
IT professionals, DBAs and developers who want to learn the details of how to use SSIS to accomplish data integration, data warehouse loading, and how to administer SSIS through the development lifecycle to production.

Basic experience in business intelligence solutions and SQL Server Server is recommended as prerequisite. No prior experience with SQL Server SSIS is required.
