Developer Workshop: Introduction to Cloud Architecture with Residuality Theory
This workshop describes how we can use residuality theory - a theory that combines systems engineering and complexity science - to better build cloud architectures with sufficient quality despite constant technology churn and increasing uncertainty and complexity in the world around us.
Based on peer reviewed science, the workshop travels through philosophy, science, and engineering to reframe the role of the architect in software engineering, paving the way for a scientific approach to a practice mostly based hunches and trends. Participants will gain a new perspective of architectural decision making, and some practical tools to raise quality in their cloud applications.
