VMware Horizon 8 - Deploy and Manage plus App Volumes Fast Track
Denna komprimerade kurs ger dig praktiska färdigheter för att leverera virtuella skrivbord och applikationer genom en enskild virtuell skrivbordsinfrastruktur. Kursen är en femdagars kombination av tre kurser om totalt 8 dagar. Skills for Virtual Desktop Management, VMware Horizon 8: Infrastructure Administration och VMware App Volumes and Dynamic Environment Manager. Kursen genomförs som en sk Fast Track-kurs i förhöjt tempo.
Du kommer att bygga vidare på dina färdigheter i att konfigurera och hantera VMware Horizon 8 genom en kombination av föreläsningar och praktiska laborationer. Du lär dig hur du konfigurerar och distribuerar pooler av virtuella maskiner och hur du tillhandahåller en anpassad skrivbordsmiljö till slutanvändare. Dessutom kommer du att lära dig hur du installerar och konfigurerar en plattform för virtuell skrivbordsinfrastruktur. Du lär dig hur du installerar och konfigurerar VMware Horizon Connection Server och Unified Access Gateway, hur du konfigurerar en lastbalanserare för användning med Horizon samt hur du upprättar Cloud Pod Architecture.
Du lär dig även använda App Volumes för att leverera applikationer och data till stationära datorer och användare - Snabbt och skalbart. Du kommer att få färdigheter i att hantera programlivscykler från installation till uppdatering och utbyte. Du kommer också att lära dig använda Dynamic Environment Manager för att tillhandahålla personalisering och dynamisk policykonfiguration över virtuella, fysiska och molnbaserade miljöer för att förenkla hanteringen av slutanvändarprofiler.

Kursen är utformad för tekniker och systemingenjörer som skall implementera och/eller sköta en användar-infrastruktur baserad på VMware Horizon 8 och App Volumes.
Som deltagare förutsätts du besitta vissa förkunskaper för att hänga med i kursens tempo och tillgodogöra dig dess innehåll:
- Kunna använda VMware vSphere Web Client för att se tillståndet för virtuella maskiner, data stores och nätverk
- Öppna en virtuell maskin-konsol på VMware vCenter Server och få tillgång till gästoperativsystemet
- Skapa snapshots av virtuella maskiner

Du behöver även ha viss erfarenhet av följande moment:
